Serving special needs children at summer camp was a wonderful experience for many of our members.

The Canaveral Port Ministry serves crew members who are in port with the cruise ships. More than 800 in one day visited recently. They come for free wifi and food, pick up their Amazon orders, go shopping and just hang out and relax. They are given opportunities to learn about and/or worship Jesus.Watching launches and landings are fun for us and the cruise ship workers.
Many COM members volunteer with Operation Christmas Child of Samaritan’s Purse each year.
Sprucing up the children’s home was good, but helping the residents make sock puppets was great!
COM members served with Racetrack Ministries at the Nascar race in Atlanta. There was a free breakfast for the campers.
A group of GA COM members and friends updated the campsites at the children’s home so volunteers have a place to stay.
COM made puppets for the Christmas shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse.

Each year we help an equestrian therapy center get ready for the summer.
Working at the fair gives lots of opportunities to share Jesus.
The most gratifying portion of my ministry with campers on mission is when we get to work with nursing home residents and children’s homes doing crazy games, dances, puppet programs, etc. I love doing puppet workshops with churches and then have them go and do ministry at different locations with us. This teaches the new ministries how to do testimonies to share Christ. Campers on missions offers members a way to work with others and learn new ministry skills. Donna Biggers
Joanne and I heard from the Lord two years ago to sell our home, property and most assets to take our RV on the road in ministry. Shortly after we obeyed we found several RV ministry organizations. We have spent the last two years being amazed at the blessings of obedience. This fall we joined Campers on Mission and have met and talked with several great COM members. We can’t wait to get more involved with the GA chapter and other COM chapters in the future.
